Fitness Trainer Course
Aim: To develop core competency to operate effectively as a Fitness Trainer
Pre-requisites:
a. GCE "O” level or equivalentb. NITEC
c. Basic Exercise Certification or equivalent
Duration: 46 hours.
Course description: The course is conducted on a part-time basis, with either online or onsite lectures and workshops. Participants are expected to attend 90% the programme and pass both theory and practical exams at the end of the programme. The course schedule will be given ahead of time and participants should ensure that they are able to commit to the schedule when signing up for the course. There will be no make-up sessions for the onsite sessions.
Mode of delivery: Online or onsite lectures and workshops.
Passing Requirements:
c. Attain ? 60% in theory exam (open book)d. Pass all stations in practical exam
e. At least 90% attendance
f. Proof of AED and CPR certification with > 1 year validity.
